What Moves You? The Town of Amherstburg is undertaking a Transportation Master Plan update & we need your input. Whimsical image of different modes of transportation. The Transportation Master Plan will address existing challenges and develop a plan to navigate today's challenges, adapt to tomorrow's, and inspire the future. It will provide the Town with creative and realistic solutions based on input from the public, private sector, and government agencies. The Transportation Master Plan will establish a transportation system better to serve residents, employers, employees, and visitors while accommodating all modes of transportation, such as public transit, commuter travel, commercial vehicles, and active transportation.



In addition, some unfamiliar terms may be used throughout this project. To assist you, the 'Terms Related to Transportation' document can be referred to in the Documents Section on the project page.


We invite you to participate in our second public engagement, presenting infrastructure solutions recommended in the Transportation Master Plan for the Town of Amherstburg. Your valuable feedback is crucial in developing a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan that reflects your community's diverse needs and aspirations. We'd like to ask you to share your perspectives on proposed strategies, priorities, and potential improvements for the transportation network.

How you can participate:

  • ATTEND the Public Open House - Tuesday, February 13, 2024, 5 pm-7 pm at the Libro Centre. Thank you to those who attended.
  • COMPLETE the survey - The survey is now closed. Thank you to those who participated.

I believe that closing off of MURRAY ST is not a good idea we live right there and we have enough problems when close the streets four the Sumer weekends with traffic people not stop at stop sign now and going the wrong down one way streets now .We ready got a letter from the mayer promising more policing which did not happen what will happen with more traffic and no where to go but the wrong way on the one streets now
