Decorative: hands holding a butterflyThis park is located near Amherst Pointe at 164 McLeod Ave. It is named after Warren Mickle, a well-known local nature photographer and lifetime resident of Malden Township, who lived and worked in the area of the parkland.

Warren Mickle Park is located in the flood plain of Big Creek Watershed, and as a result, many areas of the park flood or are wet due to the natural topography of the land and its proximity to Big Creek. This has presented some challenges with respect to park access.

The new playground is OPEN!

The groundbreaking has begun! We look forward to seeing the new playground in Warren Mickle Park come to fruition. Special thanks to Kurt Reffle and his team, who raised funds and presented the Town with a $10,000 cheque towards the completion of the playground.
