Community Strategic Plan

Thank you to all the community members who shared their views and ideas for the Town's updated Community Strategic Plan. The public engagement phase for this project is now closed, and we look forward to sharing the findings in our first report to Council on July 11th.

We will be hosting four pop-up engagement sessions over Friday June 16^th and Saturday June 17^th where our strategic planning team will be in the community asking folks about their priorities and vision for the Town. On Friday June 16^th we will be at the Sobeys on Sandwich Street at Fort St. from 11am-1pm, at the Canadian Tire on Sandwich St. and Pickering Street from 1:30-3:30pm and at Richmond St. and Dalhousie St. across from the Navy Yard during the Open Air Market from 6-9pm. On Saturday June 17^th we’ll be at the Amherstburg Farmers’ Market at the GL Heritage Brewing Company from 8:30-11:30am.

If you can’t make one of our pop-ups or would rather provide input privately, we are also conducting a digital survey, which will allow participants to provide their feedback from wherever they are. The survey is available HERE. The survey will be open for until Monday June 26^th.
