After budget deliberations on December 8 and 9, the Town of Amherstburg adopted the 2026 Budget Tax Levy increase of 2.86%
The Budget is the business plan for the Town's service delivery and programs in 2026. It will include elements such as contributions to reserves, economic development initiatives, asset management and renewal, and enhancements to service level delivery related to Town operations.
You can access theProposed 2026 Operating & Capital Budget in the DOCUMENTS section of this webpage.
The final budget documents are being prepared and will be able to view in the coming weeks. View the Mayor's Budget Minutes.

The Proposed Budget will be presented on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Special Council Meeting.
